Flexy Fit

Flexy Fit is a barre-inspired workout. It is a combination of yoga, Pilates, ballet, and aerobics with a dash of bootcamp! It is a full body workout! This class is designed to improve strength, flexibility, and balance, while toning muscles through low-impact, movements with some added cardio bursts! Maximize the efficiency of your workout and get everything in, in just 1 hour… or stay for the yoga class afterwards and really benefit some deep stretching! You won’t be sorry! Transform your life this fall! 

All of Flexy’s fitness classes are finished with a cool essential oil infused compress, everyone’s favourite part of the final savasana. (East St. Paul location)

For an additional burn, BRING LIGHT WEIGHTS (2-5 lbs.)

Flexy Flow Yoga

Flexy Flow is an ACTIVE yoga class that focuses on linking asanas (postures) together. It is a flowing sequence that links breath with movement while getting the heart rate up. It is great for building strength, increasing flexibility, improving cardiovascular health, and maintaining a lean, toned, healthy body.

All classes are finished with an essential oil infused warm compress (East St. Paul location.)

Variations & modifications are always available. Move at your own pace.
* NOT recommended for people with limited mobility or looking for relaxation.

Yin Yoga & SMR

This class is a combination of gentle yoga, deep stretches and SMR (Self-Myofascial Release) therapy; perfect for relaxation! You can expect to hold stretches for longer periods of time to allow for deep opening of connective tissues. Stretching coupled with SMR therapy will dramatically improve range of motion (flexibility) more than just stretching alone. SMR is great for relieving muscle pain, treating sciatica, plantar facetious, and this list goes on!

What is SMR?

 Self-Myofascial Release (SMR)  is a therapeutic approach that focuses on relieving muscle pain that affects the fascia (connective tissue that covers the muscles). It is a hands-on technique that works to relax, lengthen and realign your fascia, thus increasing your flexibility. The goal is to bring you pain relief and increase your range of motion using props such as lacrosse balls and small rollers

This is a very popular choice for BEGINNERS or to take after a faster-paced class. It is perfect before bedtime as it helps calm the nervous system, enabling your body to relax, release, & unwind.

All classes are finished with an essential oil infused warm compress (East St. Paul location.) Please BRING your own yoga mat + water. This is a slower paced class, wear layers and bring socks.

Flexy specializes in flexibility and is certified by the CPFA (Canadian Pole Fitness Association) in flexibility and has studied self-myofascial release. She is also a curated speaker at Robertson College in Winnipeg, MB for their Massage Therapy Program. She has presented on the topics of yoga, flexibility, and SMR therapy for the college.
